We collect personal information such as your name, email address, location, and activity within the app, including interactions like likes and responses to prompts. We also collect data through cookies and tracking technologies to enhance the performance of the app and deliver personalized content. We do not collect sensitive data such as health or financial information.

We use your information to improve the app experience, personalize content, conduct analytics, and send marketing communications. By signing up for a free membership to access the beta version of Bondfire, you agree to receive email communications from us, including marketing messages. You can unsubscribe from these communications at any time using the link provided in the emails.

3. Advertising and Third-Party Services

Bondfire is supported by advertisements that allow us to provide free services to users. Ads are based on non-sensitive user data such as interactions within the app. While personal data like your name and email are not shared with advertisers, anonymized or aggregated data may be used for ad targeting through cookies or similar technologies.

We also use third-party services, including Google Analytics to track usage trends and Airtable to manage our question database. If payments become part of the app in the future, relevant data will be shared with payment processors to process transactions.

Bondfire uses cookies to enhance functionality, performance, and ad targeting. Functional cookies are essential for the operation of the app and cannot be disabled. Functional cookies will remain active to ensure the app works correctly.

Currently, users cannot directly modify or delete personal data within the app, but we are working on adding this functionality. We store your data securely on encrypted cloud servers and through Squarespace. User data is retained indefinitely unless you request its deletion. At this time, we do not have a policy for deleting inactive or old accounts, but you can contact us to request account deletion.

We use encryption and other security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access. In the unlikely event of a data breach, we will promptly notify affected users and take steps to mitigate the risks.

8. Children’s Privacy

Bondfire is intended for users aged 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child’s data has been collected, we will delete it immediately. Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided personal data can contact us to request removal.

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in our practices or services. If significant changes occur, we will notify you through email and in-app notifications. Continued use of Bondfire after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
